On 18th March took place the Theater Opening in La Bañeza (León, Spanien) attended by Culture Minister of Spain, Ángeles González-Sinde.
Javier Alonso and Pianist Juan Carlos Cornelles perfomed Works by Manuel de Falla, Fernando Obradors, Federico Moreno-Torroba and Francisco Alonso.

The award-winning duo performs a song by Hugo Wolf in the studio.
On 18th September 2010 Javier Alonso was awarded together with pianist Ainoa Padrón with the 3rd Prize at the Hugo Wolf International Competition for the Art of Lied in Stuttgart. The jury included such famous artists as Brigitte Fassbaender, Graham Johnson, Kurt Widmer, Birgid Steinberger, Wolfram Rieger and Robert Holl.
